Court (22) is a dancer, performer and deaf. His mother tongue is Dutch Sign Language, a language that only 1.7 percent of Dutch people master. Court uses social media to make peers curious about his native language through dance.
T-Mobile is now helping him to do that on an even bigger online stage. Together with artist Sor (hearing impaired) and Signourney K., Court develops the track Body Language with accompanying TikTok dance and TikTok filter. It is the first time that large-scale attention is being drawn to Dutch Sign Language in the Netherlands through dance, music and technology.
