Stress, pressure to perform, burnout symptoms. These were the distressing stories Valentijn heard when he spoke with peers about the student loan system. A group of one million students in the Netherlands is suffering from the consequences of this failed system. Being part of this 'unlucky generation' himself, he decided to create a protest film about the issues surrounding the student loan system. The film was warmly embraced by students, who shared it widely, and the media: with an interview in the Parool, Studenten.com, and a feature on NOS Stories.
