THE REVERSE JOB INTERVIEW

Beer ten Kate for Randstad

THE LABOUR MARKET IS TIGHT, AND EMPLOYERS ARE LINING UP TO FIND WORKERS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

There are currently a record 400,000 available job openings, while Employee Insurance Agency figures show that only 3.3 percent of the working population is currently unemployed. It’s a concerning development, but from the employee perspective of employees it’s a ‘fantastic opportunity’, according to Randstad.

In this campaign, we see companies applying for talent, instead of the other way around. “It paints a playful, unusual picture, watching directors stand in line to fill their openings,” says head of campaigns Pim Beekman.

And they’ll be taking this new job application process into reality at a Randstad digital event, also produced by Bruut Amsterdam. “We’re going to turn the application process around, proving this campaign really hits the mark,” says marketing director Nic Huiskes.

Companies like KLM, KPN, Just Eat, and Dutch Railways have all registered for the event.
