Trying to stay connected with each other in these tough times of quarantine.
Children are quarantined. Grandparents can not meet their grandson for the first time, and relationships come to a halt. Who are we when we are deprived of our most basic human needs.
Together with KPN and Achtung! we were asked to bring an Ode to the Netherlands during this time of crisis. Because even while we are deprived of closeness, people of Netherlands show an amazing power to adapt. Paradoxically, in many cases, these events have made us closer to our loved ones than before. It's a story of hope that comes out of the unique situation we are in. And this is exactly what we tried to capture in this film.
