Once you’re an adult, you move further away from your childhood home. Your life is filled with the excitement of new friends, a career, new neighbourhood and new life experiences.
Together with Suzan, Freek and Snelle, we travelled back to each of their hometowns, to take a step back from everything. The homes, the playgrounds and the schools tell so many stories of the past. We’ve asked the artists to bring childhood photos to relive youthful memories. Nothing according to script, just to have a joyful experience. And we’ve learned that silence doesn’t always have to be deafening, but rather calming. Even if it’s just for a moment.
