Every year 20.000 people die from the effects of tobacco. In addition, one million people are battling a chronic tobacco related illness.

As a result our doctors have to deliver bad news to their patients more than a 100.000 times each year. For both patient and doctor, these are the worst conversations imaginable. However, the majority of these conversations could be prevented with decisive government policy. And while it's part of their job, it's something they can never get used to.

This film shows a variety of medical specialists, who regularly deal with tobacco related illnesses. They address our government with a simple yet urgent message: Get rid of tobacco and prevent a new generation from becoming addicted to this deadly product.
